I’m not sure blogging is really my thing. I have no problem cooking, but sitting down in front of the computer to talk about it . . . I have to be in the mood. So here is what I have been up to since November.
Xonequi from Veracruz-Bean and Masa Ball Soup
Plátanos Rellenos-Stuffed Plantains from Señora Maria Elena Romero from Veracruz.
Tortitas De Cazón Guisados- Cazón Fritters in Broth from Campeche.
Jarachitos En Forma de Tamales from Sra. Manuela Chuc in Campeche. The fish from above (before I fried it) is put into tamales.
Bistec en Vire Vira-Steak and Onions Campechana from Sra. Consepción Gala in Campeche.
Arroz Con Camarón Seco-Rice with Dried Shrimp with Salsa de Chile Pasilla from Srita. Abigail Mendoza in Oaxaca. I realized after I ate it that I probably should have taken the skins off the shrimp. They were so tiny and cooked I didn’t really mind them. Oops.
Mole Verde-Green Mole from Sra. María Gutiérrez from Guerrero.
